Congress Venue/Accommodation
The Congress venue is at Hotel Bourbon Cataratas Convention Resort. IHA has secured a special discounted rate for Congress participants at the hotel. We recommend that participants take advantage of this special rate by booking their accommodation as soon as they have registered for the Congress, as rooms are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
Hotel registration is handled separately from registration for the Congress, with participants being responsible for arranging their own accommodation for the duration of their stay in Iguassu. Please note that any queries that you have regarding accommodation booked with the Bourbon Catarata Convention Resort must be taken up with the hotel directly.
Once your Congress registration has been completed, IHA will send you a special rate code, which you will need to provide to the hotel to secure the IHA Congress special rate. Upon receiving the special rate code, participants are requested to make their accommodation bookings directly with the Hotel Bourbon Cataratas Convention Resort.
Liability/Insurance
IHA cannot accept responsibility for any death or personal injury, loss or damage arising from the Congress and its related services which includes transportation, events and tours. Participants are strongly advised to take out adequate personal insurance, prior to travelling.
IHA reserve the right to amend any part of the Congress programme or arrangements if deemed necessary.
Passport, visa and immunisation requirements for Brazil
Responsibility for having a valid passport and visa lies with the participants. IHA recommends that participants should always check visa requirements with the Brazilian Embassy or Consulate that serves their country, prior to registering for the IHA 2011 World Congress.
Once the registration payment has been received, IHA will endeavour to assist participants in the visa application process by providing a letter confirming their registration. However, IHA is unable to take responsibility for participants that are unable to secure a visa. IHA also recommends that participants check immunisation requirements with the Brazilian Embassy or Consulate that serves their country, prior to registering for the IHA 2011 World Congress.
