What airports serve the city of Iguassu?
We recommend that you fly to Foz do Iguaçu/Cataratas International Airport (airport code: IGU) in Brazil.
However, in case flights to Brazil are full, airports in Argentina and Paraguay are within reasonable driving distance to the Congress venue. Please note that hotel shuttles will not be able to pick you up across the border. If you choose to fly to Argentina or Paraguay, please also make sure to leave with plenty of time on the day of your departure, to account for delays at immigration checkpoints. Please also ensure that you have additional travel visas for these countries, if required.
For more details, please see Airport Information.
How do I get from the airport to my hotel?
IHA will be arranging for a shuttle bus to pick up delegates from Foz do Iguaçu/Cataratas International Airport at Iguassu Falls on Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 June, to take them to the Congress hotel, Hotel Bourbon. If you are staying at a different hotel, taxis are available from outside the airport building.
If you are flying to Cataratas del Iguazú International Airport in Argentina or Guaraní International Airport in Paraguay, you will need to arrange your own transportation to your hotel.
