Registration fees
The standard registration fee for the IHA 2011 World Congress is EUR 1,380, which includes:
- All Congress Plenary Sessions, including lunch and coffee breaks (15-17 June)
- Two Paralell Sessions, including coffee breaks (15-16 June)
- Networking Tour (14 June)
- Welcome Reception and Dinner (14 June)
- Full Moon Dinner at Iguassu Falls (15 June)
- Itaipu Dam – Light & Sound Show (16 June)
- Congress Closing Banquet (17 June)
Please note that the registration fee does not include accommodation, which delegates must book directly. Discounted hotel rates are available for people attending the IHA 2011 World Congress. Click here for more information.
The fee for accompanying persons is EUR 280, which includes:
- Networking Tour (14 June)
- Welcome Reception and Dinner (14 June)
- Full Moon Dinner at Iguassu Falls (15 June)
- Itaipu Dam – Light & Sound Show (16 June)
- Congress Closing Banquet (17 June)
Post-Congress Study Tour
Delegates and Accompanying Persons are invited to participate in the Post-Congress Study Tour, which will visit the Madeira river in the heart of
the Amazon. The tour includes technical visits to two of Brazil’s latest hydropower developments – the 3,300 MW Jirau and 3,150 MW Santo Antonio projects.
The fee for the Post-Congress Study Tour is EUR 560 per person, and includes:
- Three nights hotel accommodation (19-21 June)
- Lunches and evening meals (20-21 June)
- Coach transportation to and from the hydro project sites
- Tour guides around the study sites
Please note that travel to and from Porto Velho is not included in the price of the tour.
